This complete steering linkage refresh kit is designed for 1966 models and includes everything needed to eliminate slop, improve steering response, and restore factory geometry, with the ease of an Opentracker Roller idler arm. At the heart of the kit is our Trans-Am style roller idler arm — a high-performance upgrade inspired by the roller-bearing idler arms used in 1960s SCCA Trans-Am racing. Unlike stock rubber-bushed idler arms that flex and wear quickly, this arm features serviceable roller bearings at both ends for ultra-low friction, smooth operation, and dramatically better road feel.
