Description
This is what it takes to swap any 6cyl 60-65 Falcon or Comet with a 1″ sector shaft steering box over to V8 steering when using 1964 Falcon spindles made after 6/10/64 and all 1965 Falcon, 65-66 Mustang V8 Spindles. Ford changed the spindle outer tie rod hole size in June of ’64.
We can get outer tie rod ends to fit most any style of spindle you have. If you are using a spindle that is not the stock 65 Falcon V8 spindle, please let us know what you have so we can send the correct outer tie rod ends.
We can modify this kit with a bump steer kit or the quick steer kit like the ones for the Mustangs. If you have a special need, send us an email.
This kit comes with a new 65 Falcon V8 center link, new 65 Falcon V8 inner tie rod ends (2), new V8 adjusting sleeves (2), new 65 V8 Falcon outer tie rod ends (2), a new V8 1″ sector shaft pitman arm and a new V8 roller idler arm with frame bracket.
