Product Description
The A121 Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit by Stainless Steel Brakes includes everything you need to upgrade your drum brakes to the reliability and performance of a modern disc brake system.
This kit works on 1967-1969 Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon, Torino, Comet, Cougar, or Ranchero with V8 (or 6-cylinder) engines and automatic or manual transmission. It installs directly onto stock drum brake spindles with no other modifications needed and is compatible with most 15” wheels as well as factory-style 14” x 7” steel wheels. Please consult the wheel fitment diagram to confirm clearances.
Note for 6-cylinder vehicles: Most 6-cylinder cars originally have a 4 x 4.5″ bolt pattern — this kit converts the front only to the 5 x 4.5″ pattern.
Important: The master cylinder in this non-power kit will not bolt to a stock power brake booster (vehicles originally equipped with power drums).
Kelsey Hayes style Shelby / GT calipers, brackets, and splash shields are made from the original Ford prints and are 100% made in the USA. All correct hardware, DOT flex hoses and fittings, new brass distribution block, and stainless adapter lines are included.
The kit features premium-quality black E-coat calipers for superior corrosion resistance, stainless steel pistons, and a dual-reservoir master cylinder. It also includes an adjustable proportioning valve — the best way to fine-tune front-to-rear brake bias for maximum stopping power and balanced performance.
